Feel at home

Never in the more than 30-year history of the Café de Oriente have we been forced to close the establishment for such a long period. There have been weeks of uncertainty and some restlessness (lets be honest…), but finally we will soon reopen with the same enthusiasm and excitement we have been doing it with since 1983. We have a great team of professionals, both in the kitchen and in the dining area, who throughout these past weeks have gone through a specific training process to prevent COVID-19 from spreading again. We are very aware, and we know that individual responsibility plays an important role in this phase. We want to open with all the guarantees for both our clients and our staff, so we have taken it very seriously. We do not want to close again!!

For this reason, we have intensified all self-hygiene and disinfection protocols. We have had the best in these types of tasks and the experts from the Higher School of Hospitality of Seville have designed a rigorous action plan to serve and be served with maximum security.

We will start by opening our magnificent terraces, located in the Plaza de Oriente. We offer an ideal menu for any time of the day, so those who so wish may come for breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner. After several weeks at home, the most appealing thing is to be able to go for a walk and finish the route in one of the most emblematic places in Madrid, next to the Royal Palace. It is a luxury to enjoy our fine cuisine outdoors. We want our clients to feel at home and know that at the Café de Oriente we will not skimp on offering the best service or the best cuisine. And everything, with the same care and attention that we have done in our homes during these past weeks.
